DepartureAlert is an SMS-based flight departure reminder service. We calculate when you should leave for the airport based on predicted TSA wait times, real-time traffic conditions, and your personal preferences, then send you a text message reminder.
2. SMS Messaging Terms
By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to the following:
- You consent to receive automated SMS messages from DepartureAlert related to your flight departure reminders and account verification.
- Message frequency varies depending on the number of flights you have scheduled. Typically 1–3 messages per flight (verification code, departure alert, and optional updates).
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from DepartureAlert. You will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
- For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at the email below.
- Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or use of any other service.
- Compatible carriers include but are not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have a US mobile phone number to use DepartureAlert. By using the service you represent that you are the account holder or authorized user of the phone number provided.
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing accurate flight and contact information.
- DepartureAlert provides estimates based on available data. We do not guarantee the accuracy of TSA wait time predictions, traffic estimates, or departure times.
- You are solely responsible for arriving at the airport on time. DepartureAlert is a convenience tool and should not be your only means of tracking your departure.
5. Service Availability
DepartureAlert is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any missed flights, travel disruptions, or damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.
6. Privacy
Your use of DepartureAlert is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
